Police responded early Monday morning to a report of a suspicious package in front of Northview Corporate Center near 207th and 44th. The call came in shortly after 5 a.m.

Officers evacuated the building and cordoned off the area as they waited for the State Patrol bomb squad to arrive. After examining the package, no explosives were found.

Police say the contents of the shoe-box sized container weren’t dangerous, but they are still investigating where it came from.

About 20 people were initially evacuated and a couple hundred more were kept away until the scene was cleared about 8:30 a.m.
