Lynnwood’s Monica Kwong defeated Lake Stevens’ Shaelyn Huot 6-2, 6-3 Wednesday in a Wesco 4A singles match at Lake Stevens High School.
Kwong, who improved to 4-1 for the season at singles, proivided the lone win for the Royals, who lost 5-1 to the Vikings.
