Thanks for your generosity this Christmas season

A big thank you is owed to everyone who donated to our sponsored family in need this Christmas. We at Lynnwood Today and My Edmonds News are very grateful for your kindness – as are mom, 10-year-old Jewell and 7-year-old Travis.

Along with the help of Santa (played by John, a retired Lynnwood firefighter), we made the delivery Thursday afternoon. All of us were overcome by the generosity of the community. Toys, games, clothing, beds (special thanks to Mattress Depot USA), bedding, grocery cards and a Christmas dinner – every need was met for this family. The smiles on the kids’ faces said it all.

Here are a few photos from the delivery. Below that is recognition of those who gave. Many of you made such a difference for this family this season. Thank you.

Among the donations were grocery gift cards, a membership to Imagine Children's Museum, and a bowling and pizza party and Lynnwood Bowl and Skate.
