To our readers: Looking for historical accounts of Scriber Lake

For a future article, the My Neighborhood News Network is working to reconstruct the history of Lynnwood’s Scriber Lake. We are looking for contact information related to longtime Scriber Lake historian Betty Munson or a descendant who may have Betty’s historical account of the lake.

Anyone with more information can email it to myedmondsnews@gmail.com.

  1. I’m really excited for this upcoming story! It’s particularly well timed since the first phase of construction recently had its groundbreaking ceremony on 5/16/2024. I need to get over there and check out the construction. I believe the park will be closed for 2 years. In April and May of 2024, I saw a beaver in the lake.
