Have you ever wondered what two thousand baked cookies smell like? Have you ever wanted to go behind the scenes in the event industry? Perhaps you’re just curious, “What goes on in that big building on the corner of 196th?” Well, here is your chance to answer those questions and more.The Lynnwood Convention Center offers a tour of its facility at 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18.
The tour will go “behind the scenes” and show visitors what it takes to produce 400 events a year. Visitors can ask questions about the Center and discover how it works. Visitors also will be able to see the latest public art exhibition and learn about the function and role the Lynnwood Convention Center plays to the surrounding community.
Tours are the third Monday of each month at 3 p.m. and begin at the Center front desk. RSVPs are required and groups larger than 10 visitors should contact the Center directly.
