Trader Joe’s is recalling Trader José’s Mexicali Brand Salad with Chili Lime Chicken (SKU 97216) with “USE BY” dates of 10/01/13 through 11/15/13.
The supplier informed Trader Joe’s that the product may be contaminated with E. coli, an organism that can cause serious food-borne illness if consumed.
All of the potentially affected product has been removed from sale and destroyed. Customers who purchased this item, should not eat it. They may return the item to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund or dispose of it.
