Soccer: Meadowdale 4, Everett 1

Austin Panek scored one goal and assisted on two others to help lead the Mavericks to a 4-1 victory over Everett in a Wesco 3A South game at Lincoln Field. Also scoring goals were Nathan Redd, Colten Davis and Tristan Springer. Meadowdale improved to 4-2 in the league and 5-2-1 overall.

Soccer: Snohomish 4, Lynnwood 0

Tanner Corrie scored three goals and Ryan Peters recorded the shutout for the Panthers. Lynnwood fell to 3-5 in the league and 3-5 overall.

Baseball: Cascade 6, Lynnwood 1

The Royals only managed four hits against the Bruins in a Wesco 4A South game at Lynnwood High School. Brady Girgus drove in Lucas Jungmann in the bottom of the fifth for Lynnwood’s lone run. Jungmann suffered the loss, going 6 2/3 innings. Lynnwood (3-2 in the league, 7-2) committed three errors.

Baseball: Glacier Peak 3, Meadowdale 0

The Mavericks seven-game winning streak was snapped by the Grizzlies in a Wesco 3A South game at Glacier Peak High School. Justin Ridley was 2-for-3 with a double for Meadowdale (5-2 in the league, 7-3 overall).

Softball: Jackson 3, Lynnwood 0

The Royals were no-hit by Wolfpack pitcher Sophia Frost, who struck out 11 and walked three, in a Wesco 4A South game at Lynnwood High School. The Royals (4-1, 8-2) had their seven-game winning streak halted. Lynnwood had scored 95 runs in those seven games. Jessica Gott allowed five hits and struck out five in the complete-game loss.

Boys golf: Kamiak 179, Edmonds-Woodway 194, Jackson 195, Cascade 203, Lynnwood 238, Mariner 251

Lynnwood’s Rudy Caparas won medalist honors with a 1-under-32 at the Lynnwood Golf Course. Kamiak’s Matt Kornegay and Brian Moon and Jackson’s Arnold Ha tied for second with a 34.

Tennis: Meadowdale 6, Marysville-Pilchuck 1

Meadowdale swept all four singles matches with Sunni Lee, Bear Lund, Alisha Chand and Erica Nguyen posting victories. Catherine Pham/Tiffany Daniggelis and Alyssa Valdez/Sara Coppa won their doubles matches.
