Authorities say two people in a stolen pickup truck in Lynnwood led State Patrol troopers on a chase down Interstate 405, dodging spike strips before finally being stopped in Renton.
Our news parttner, the Seattle Times, notes that the chase began around 7:20 a.m. Monday after troopers clocked a pickup going 78 mph on Interstate 5. The driver refused to stop and troopers ran the license plate, discovering that the pickup had been reported stolen.
