Two Lynnwood High wrestlers qualify for state 4A tournament

lynnwood royals logoLynnwood High School qualified two wrestlers for state at the Region 1 4A tournament held at Snohomish on Saturday.

Hunter Lord, 160 lbs., and Manuel Vazquez, 220 lbs., advanced to the semifinals before losing, but both came back through consolation and qualified for state.  Vazquez placed third while Lord placed fourth.

Both will compete in the Mat Classic XXV Feb. 13-15 in the Tacoma Dome.
