Cafe Rio Mexican Grill at the Alderwood Mall is having its grand opening today (Wednesday).
Cafe Rio is located in the Villege Shops section of Alderwood Mall.
This is some of what Cafe Rio’s Community Relations and Marketing Manager Stacy Young had to say:
“We’ve won over 60 awards and was most recently ranked the number one Quick Serve Mexican Restaurant in the Nation, for the third straight year. Every one of our meals is made right in front of our customers eyes, nothing is prepackaged or frozen, everything is made from scratch every day. …We’re especially proud of our community involvement. We like being good neighbors, and enjoy helping build for a better future. Some of the programs we will be adding to our community include a Student of the Week program, sponsoring school events in our local schools, and supporting local charities.”
The restaurant is open from 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m.- 9 p.m., Sunday. For more information call 425-563-1300 or see www.caferio.com

Had lunch at Cafe Rio ribbon cutting today – YUM. They make their own tortillas right in front of you. Gotta love that.
