Two men were shot as they attempted to burglarize an occupied house in Lynnwood at around 10 p.m. Thursday, April 3.

The Snohomish County Sheriff”s Office said that it appears that a 54 year-old female was home with her 21 year-old son when two men attempted to force their way into the house.

The son shot both men, striking one in the back and one in the arm. The men, both 20 years of age, fled the area and were picked up by Lynnwood Police. Both were taken into custody and transported to the hospital.

The two men were located near the 15800 block of Highway 99. The person who shot the men is cooperating with law enforcement.
