Students returned to Edmonds Community College’s Rainier Place Tuesday night after the residence hall was evacuated due to a water pipe that burst on the fourth floor earlier in the day.
Rainier Hall was open to students at about 9 p.m. last night. Thirty-two students, however, were not able to return to their units because of the damage caused by water. Those students were put up at a hotel by the college. At least seven units were affected by the water damage. The hall has 181 beds.
This is finals week at the college.
