Update: Victim provides details of home invasion robbery

At about 12:30 p.m., Lynnwood Police were called to an in-progress robbery at a Lynnwood residence in the 6200 block of 202nd St. SW.

Police arrived to find an adult woman reporting that two men, one wearing a mask and armed with a handgun, had forced their way into the residence after making initial contact with her at the front door. The victim was the only occupant at the time.

The woman reported the suspects put a pillowcase over her head and bound her wrists with tape. The victim reported both suspects fled on foot after they spent a brief time rummaging through the residence.

The victim was able to remove the pillowcase and call 911.

The first suspect was descrbied as a light-skinned African-American man. The second suspect was wearing a hood/mask.

Lynnwood Police are pursuing several leads in the case, including information this was not a randomly targeted victim.
