The Great Vigil of Easter
The Easter Vigil is the first and, arguably, the primary celebration of Easter. It is also known as the Great Vigil. This important worship starts at 9:00 pm on Saturday, April 8, running 2-3 hours. Easter is the feast of Christ’s resurrection. The regular morning service is at 10:30 am on April 9 in the main church building. Easter Day is the annual feast of the resurrection, the Pascha or Christian Passover.
