The first-ever Puget Sound Platinum Showcase is coming to the Verve Ballroom in Lynnwood on Sunday, May 19.

The event features some of the top ballroom dancers in the Northwest. Competitors will have a chance to practice without judges, while the noncompetitive social dancer will be able to show their progress in their dancing.

Doors will open at 3 p.m. with dancing to start at 3:30 p.m. with International Style Group Flights and American Style Solos. At 4:45 p.m., the floor will be filled by American Style Group Flights and International Style Solos. Following dinner, a professional show will be at 6:45 p.m. and general dancing will start at 8 p.m.

Tickets range from $50 for an all-day pass to $20 for an afternoon pass to $15 for the social dance. For more information on tickets and the complete schedule of events go here.
