Veterans Day ceremony scheduled for 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 11 at Lynnwood Veterans Park

vfwVeterans of Foreign Wars Post 1040 of Lynnwood presents a Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 11 at Lynnwood Veterans Park.

The ceremony will include the Northwest Junior Pipe Band, an Invocation by U.S. Navy Veteran John Beam, the Pledge of Alligiance by U.S. Marine Veteran Martin Spani, “God Bless America” by U.S. Navy Veteran Ray Colby, WWII Honor Flight Speaker Brian Seguin, a U.S. Army Veteran, a wreath presentation by U.S. Navy Veteran Fred Ensslin and U.S. Navy Veteran Ray Colby, a rifly volley salute by VFW Post 1040 Honor Guard, and Taps by U.S. Navy Veteran Glenn Ledbetter.

The Boy Scouts of America Troop 49 and Cub Scouts from Boy Scouts of America Pack 331 also will be placing flags in the park and handing out programs.

Veterans Park is located at 44th Ave. W and Veterans Way (104th St. SW.)
