Viewers can vote for favorite health program video, enter to win prizes

You can win a free T-shirt and jump rope by voting for your favorite health and fitness video programs on a national children’s health group website — including one featuring Edmonds School District (ESD) educators and the fitness programs they direct.

The video is among six posted by the group, Salud America, and highlights efforts by local educators to lead students in school fitness activities.

Salud America is a Latino childhood obesity network based out of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. On their website, Salud America is highlighting ESD Health and Fitness Coordinators Jennifer Hershey and Jennifer McCoughlan and the Move 60 program they direct and Mountlake Terrace Elementary Principal Doug Johnson and the school’s BMX program through the month of April.

Site viewers are invited to view the program videos and vote for their favorite to be entered into a drawing for a free T-shirt and jump rope.

Voting in the online contest runs through April 29. You can view the Salud America online contest here.
