Mountlake Terrace handed Meadowdale its first loss in the league with a 25-12, 21-25, 25-19, 13-25, 15-11 victory Thursday night at Mountlake Terrace High School.
The Mavericks (5-1 in the league, 8-3 overall) were led by Sloane Morrison (18 kills, 4 block kills, 17 digs), Kaylan Cummins (14 kills), Gabrielle Mahler (10 kills) and Tara Fishback (46 assists, 14 digs).
