Many grocery stores closing early, department store opening late on Thanksgiving

If you run out of stuffing or need to pick up a pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving day, you’ll need to head out early as many of the major grocery chains have shorter hours than usual.

Whole Foods (2800 196th St. SW.) will be open until 3 p.m.

As for department stores, Target (18305 Alderwood Mall Pkwy.) and Kohl’s (18405 Alderwood Mall Pkwy.) will be opening at 8 p.m. Walmart (1400 164th St. SW.) already will be open but its Black Friday deals will start at 6 p.m. JC Penney and Sears at Alderwood Mall (3000 184th St. SW) will be opening at 8 p.m.

Best Buy (19225 Alderwood Mall Pkwy.) is open at 6 p.m. Toys R Us (18601 Alderwood Mall Blvd.) will be open at 5 p.m.
