DOCUMENTARY

SOLID BLUE (WANDERHOUSE PRODUCTIONS & JRV FOTO)

At the funeral, the Seattle Fire Department’s bagpipes and drums band graciously played, inspiring Brenton’s partner, Ryan Gallagher, on a quest to form a band within his own organization. The response and support was overwhelming, and two years later, the Seattle Police Pipes and Drums, now over 50 members strong, plays memorials and events all over the state of Washington, and in other various parts of the country. Set against the sonic backdrop of their own piping and drumming, this is the story of their inspiration and pride for their role in the community and their reverent respect of their responsibility in the honor of fallen officers.
