Lynnwood Today welcomes as a sponsor MS Helping Hands and Donor Closet, providing medical equipment, services and resources that help people with their specific medical or mobility needs.
The Donor Closet, a 501(c)3 volunteer non-profit corporation licensed in the State of Washington, is located underneath the Edmonds IGA store at 409 Howell Way in downtown Edmonds. If you are need of equipment, available for a suggested donation, visit them from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
The suggested minimum donations cover the facility’s expenses, and whatever is left over is used to assist persons living in Washington state who suffer from multiple sclerosis.
I am currently in need of a 4 wheeled walker, but cannot afford a new one. I have cerebral palsy, MS, and cerebellar ataxia. My current walker is breaking and becoming unsafe for me to use.
