With the “for lease” sign still up and no visible construction, you might be wondering if Whole Foods still plans to open at the former Circuit City building, as we first reported in November. The answer is yes.
“We are very much still excited to be coming to Lynnwood at our previously announced location. We are in the permit stage of the construction process. Once this is complete expect to see some exterior work and ‘coming soon’ signage,” Marketing & Merchandising Coordinator David Hulbert told us.
The “for lease” sign is advertising a 5000-square-foot space inside the building, but the real estate developer told us they are close to a deal with that prospective tenant as well.
The store near the intersection of 196th and Alderwood Mall Parkway is expected to open in spring of 2012.
Yeah! I was just thinking about that yesterday 🙂
I hope they have a space to give classes in cooking like PCC in Edmonds.
Is the drawing a rendering of what this store will look like or just a generic one?
