It’s the first indication that construction of a new Whole Foods store will soon be started at the former Circuit City building.
Temporary work trailers and fencing have been set up at the site near 196th and Alderwood Mall Parkway. Trucks from Wrecking Ball Demolition were also parked in the lot.
“We are in the permit stage of the construction process. Once this is complete expect to see some exterior work and ‘coming soon’ signage,” Marketing & Merchandising Coordinator David Hulbert told us last month.
The store is expected to open next spring.
