As part of its 50th anniversary celebration, Wight’s is hosting a booking signing by nationally-recognized garden expert Ed Hume from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7.
His latest book is “Gardening with Ed Hume: Northwest Gardening Made Easy.”
Hume is a nationally-recognized lecturer and author. Hume produces his own brand of seeds (specially selected for short season and cool climate areas like the Pacific Northwest). Hume also hosts his own television program, Gardening in America.
What the public may not know is that he was Wight’s general manager when it began back in 1963.
Wight’s is located at 5026 196th St. SW. in Lynnwood.
