Today’s strong winds blew down a tall tree across 188th Street SW near 44th Avenue West. No injuries or serious damage was reported.
The street was blocked for a few hours this afternoon while city crews cleared the mess. Community Transit routes 115, 116 and 119 were detoured during the closure.
More strong winds are expected tomorrow, with gusts between 20 – 30 mph.
