Windermere Real Estate North is teaming up with non-profit 1 Green Planet to help people recycle difficult items and Confidential Data Disposal to help assist in the safe disposal of confidential documents post tax season.
The recycling event will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., April 20 at the Windermere North office, located at 4211 Alderwood Mall Blvd. in Lynnwood.
Large appliances, car batteries, cell phones, computers, monitors, printers, televisions, stereos, ink cartridges, medical equipment and scrap metal will be accepted at the event. Participants can also bring up to 20 banker boxes full of shredding materials.
“This is a great way to clean out your garage, get organized all while keeping the health of our environment a priority,” said Lena Maul, Broker/Owner at Windermere North.
Non-perishable food donations to benefit the Concern for Neighbors Food Bank are welcome, but not required.
