Winds blow tree on power lines near Norma Beach Road in Lynnwood, power out for 500 residents

Sunday night’s wind caused a tree to fall on power lines near Norma Beach Road in the Lynnwood/Mukilteo area at about 7:30 p.m., according to Snohomish County PUD.

About half of the customers who lost power have had service restored. Currently, approximately 500 residents in the area remain without power. Crews are on site, and it could take four hours or so to restore power to all customers.
