A woman was cited for negligent driving Monday afternoon when she drove her vehicle into a building in 19200 block of 36th Avenue West, according to the Lynnwood Police Department.

At 3:13 p.m., Lynnwood police responded to a vehicle collision when a woman in her 30s was reported to have driven her Lexus sedan through a window on the north side of a commercial business building. According to Commander Sean Doty, the vehicle was parked directly in front of the building prior to the collision and the driver did not have an explanation for why her vehicle suddenly lurched into the building.

There were no other occupants in the vehicle and no injuries were reported, Doty added.
