Edmonds Community College and the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce hosts Women Entrepreneurs, WE Mean Business, an annual business network and resource fair from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Feb. 28 at Edmonds Community College’s Black Box Theatre.
This free event focuses on helping educate and encourage women to begin and maintain a business — although all individuals, regardless of gender, are invited.
WE Mean Business will feature experts from the U.S. Small Business Administration, Northwest Washington Women’s Business Center, and Edmonds CC Business Management instructors on topics that are key to business success:
• Financing your business;
• Business planning;
• Starting and managing a business;
• Counseling and training;
• Start up;
• Insurance;
• Accounting practices; and
• Legal matters.
Light dinner and refreshments will be served.The event is free and open to the public.
